West Allis Athletic Complex
Update: REGISTRATION IS OPEN! --> Distance Meet Registration
Please sign up athletes by the night of May 15th to help with meet set up! Email email@example.com if you have any issues registering.
West Allis Hale is excited to host a fast night of racing on the mondo track. The event is designed to bring together the fastest high school runners in Wisconsin. The atmosphere will be electric with music playing under the lights of night racing. The true 2021 prom will be the dance under the lights against fast competition at the Hale track!
There will be two sessions with the second session having the fastest races. Both sessions should be a great opportunity to race fast and run personal bests on the state’s fastest track! Please look at the entry requirements below before considering if you have athletes who qualify to compete.
Athletes/coaches are encouraged to bring previously used shoes/spikes to donate to One World Running and local homeless shelters.
You will get a PRO running sticker for donating. Oh, and it's just a great thing to do!
This event is for your top distance individuals. We know most teams will have team meets this day but we are trying to get the top distance runners to wait to race until night time under the lights on the mondo track. We have a lot of great commitments already and I will start posting athletes competing soon.
The missed 2020 season may impact the ability to provide quality marks. You can use a performance from anytime in the athlete’s athletic career. Unattached races can be used as well if they have verifiable results. If no performances exist but you have an idea of the athlete's actual fitness, please put in a legit estimate of what they can run so they are placed in the correct race.

Distance Meet Registration Coaches can register athletes for up to 2 events and race in both if they wish. Registration is due by midnight on the night of May 16th. Sessions will be assigned based on seed times and this information will be sent to coaches via the heat sheets.
*Athletes will compete for their team as a normal meet and it is an approved WIAA event. If you register, your team should receive an invite to add to your team schedule so it will be a normal track meet on your schedule.
Hall of fame coach, Ron Kurtz, will be doing the announcing. Athletes will be called up to the starting line and each individually announced prior to the race.
Heat winners will receive Distance Night T-Shirt. The top 3 in each race will report to the infield to be announced to the crowd and receive a medal after their race.
Elliot Kramsky will be our official for the meet. He is the former athletic director at Hale and now coaches at Catholic Memorial. He's awesome.
Performance Running Outfitters will be on site.
